The Local Development Corporation of Crown Heights’ mission is to enhance the quality of life for the residents of the community we serve through social services and stewardship of resources. We will provide services to meet the needs of our residents that are least able to help themselves, in the spirit of empowering people to overcome hardship and serving the broader public interest.
This will be achieved through outreach services and programs such as: Low and moderate income housing, financial services to Minority and Women owned businesses, workshops of interest to first-time home buyers, homeowners and tenants, and financial education workshops. We will be flexible and responsive to changes in our social, economic, and technological environments.
